The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), the apex fashion body in India, announced Amazon India as the official title sponsor of the 25th edition of the India Fashion Week (IFW).
FDCI’s association with Amazon.in, which is India’s largest online store, indicates the growing importance of online fashion purchasing. In sync with global footsteps, the FDCI has taken a gigantic leap towards steering a ship as large as India, towards what GenNext really desire, a convenient online experience.
Speaking on the association, Mr. Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI, said, “With Amazon.in, we have an association, which is committed towards building a robust alliance, a solid workable business module, one that is aligned with FDCI’s long-term vision—amplifying the business of fashion. We look forward to an effectual and constructive partnership for years to come with Amazon.in.”
The first edition of the Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW) will be held from 25th -29th March at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
