On a warm spring afternoon, we were called to dig into the specially crafted lunch menu by the newly appointed Italian Chef – Salvatore Salis who will now lead the culinary team at Prego, Westin Gurgaon’s signature Italian restaurant. Born and raised in Sardinia, Italy, he grew up with the ‘Italian’ love for food and that was enough for him to pursue a career in culinary arts. His passion comes through his art flawlessly – his dishes are reflective of his unfathomable love for the cuisine.
The Lunch table was decked up with every bit of authenticity. Start savoring the fresh luscious salads – followed by delectable hand spun margaritas, pesto chciken to a variety of pastas tossed in your favorite delicious sauces.
Their palatable mocktails and cocktails are prepared with fresh ingredients and have the tang of organic flavours – the one I had was potent beetroot flavored cocktail that I utterly tripped on.
Ending it on a sweet note, we had the most desirable decadent desert – the Mud pie that’d surely have you in one bite.
