A lifestyle Trunk Show that merged fashion and trends rather beautifully – My Best Friend and Me! Held in the Capital at the Lalit, New Delhi, the event was organised by Curator & Stylist Dipali Bhasin, Event Expert Anubhav Bhasin and promoted by lifestyle expert Sunayana Chibba. The Exhibition showcased festive season collections by leading design houses of India.
An unforgettable shopping experience in the City where guests thronged the hotel on a superbly romantic wether with drizzle outside and everything you love, inside. From exquisite Indian labels, chic western outfits to contemporary and classic home accessories, this exhibition showcased a plethora of accessories, clothing and home décor by eminent as well as budding designers of the country. To choose from an array of styles and brands under one roof is just so exciting and liberating. Women came with their BFFs and shopped till they dropped. I myself ended up picking a beautiful statement ring.
According to the curator Dipali Bhasin , “The Exhibition helped to exhibit a variety of carefully selected styles and trends from an assortment of high end and emerging brands from various parts of India, all under one roof thereby giving customers an array of brands to choose from. The idea behind “MY BEST FRIEND & ME” was to address the increasing demands and need for high fashion and lifestyle statement pieces of any category home,clothing or fashion accessories.”
Some of the guests spotted at the event were Tarana Sawhney, Payal Kapur Sharma, Ala Madhu, Sonali Punj, Aditi Dhawan, Zia Sawhney, Gina Chowdhary, Sumaya Dalmia, Sheetal Bawa,Ritika Jhanji and few others.
Some of the leading brands that participated were, Costume jewellery brands from Mumbai such as Diosa, Aquamarine, and Confusion, ladies from the Royal Houses of India showcasing their collections – Kamini Singh of Rose Tree, Ritu Sinjhi Luxury Designer Wear from Ctaare.com(showcasing collections from Designers Rocky S, Nida Mahmood, Malini Ramini, Gauri & Nainika, Sougat Paul, Mandira Bedi). Resort wear collection from Suku Suku by Sukriti Talwar and clutches from the gorgeous hand painted accessories by Crazy Palette were also admirable.
