On the occasion, Mohita Gujral, the curator of Sue Mue, enunciated, “The collection is primarily an ode to the retro 60’s – short kurtis, embellished shoulders, long-slits. We wanted to keep the summer line ’16 fresh with pastels and softer hues. As a brand, we always craft fashion for ourselves first before it trickles down to the masses to be accepted as a trend – thanks to the innate sense of style and fashion that’s been passed on in the family for generations now as my mother was the pioneer of bespoke designing. I just strive to take the legacy forward for my patrons”.
The afternoon was a beautifully managed affair. With canapés and champagne around, the guests were seen indulging at the small salon setup by Affinity right inside the luxurious store under the glistering chandeliers.
